Hi, my name is Emmett Burnett

I was born in Mobile, Alabama, and have lived in Mobile and Baldwin County all my life. I earned my journalism degree from Troy University. Upon graduation my first professional job was Feature Editor of the Onlooker Newspaper, Foley, Alabama.

From there I accepted a job with the Dupont Corporation, working in operations and human resources while maintaining a freelance writing business.

After accepting an early retirement from DuPont, I pursued a fulltime / freelance writing career. I am still doing so today.

Pam and I have two daughters. We live in Satsuma, Al.
